Young Ministries……

bonspeak3.jpg ……..is dedicated to transforming communities one person at a time.  We believe that the bible is the infalable word of God and through his word, we can find answers to all of our needs and circumstance.

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to fast and pray.  Not only the kind of fasting that the Body of Christ is used to, but the kind of fast that is revealed to us by the Lord.  “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:  to loose the chains of injustice, and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?”  “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter - when you see the naked, to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?”

We have also been given examples of restoring and rebuilding the temple of God, broken cities and people oppressed by their circumstance.  Nehemiah, Ezra and the other books in the bible that speak of that time period, show us men and women of character who had a heart for God and the people God was calling them to serve.

We also have access to the creator of the heavens and the earth through the Holy Spirit.  His wisdom is never ending and his revelation is freely given to those who call on the name of Jesus.  With our access to divine revelation and the knowledge that our God is always with us, we can and will find the answers to every need …….if we will give ourselves over to the work of establishing the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

Won’t you join us as we seek first the kingdom?  We dedicate this site to challenging your thoughts, your actions and your impact on the world around you.

Rev. Bonnie Young’s ministry is based on social responsibility. Through the incarceration of her son, she became involved in prison ministry, prison reform and advocacy. Through the gift of her autistic and physically challenged daughter, she found the healing power of God and the ability of sound to heal and restore. She also found that there were very few programs for rehabilitation, care, or education for any of these groups. As a society, we look to the government to answer the needs of this nation. We expect the church to establish mission organizations to care for our communities and somehow find volunteers to do the work. The Bible clearly states that we, as individuals, are responsible for the condition of our society. We are looking for ways to be able to change the circumstances in our lives today. This book will walk you through social, church and biblical history, bringing you to the road map that God has given for transformation. This book will challenge you to think differently about your purpose, church, business, non-profit and your community. As Nehemiah found, there are creative ways to make your vision become reality, transforming our nation one person at a time.
